NAME : Geordie Nicholson Geordie is a vastly experienced captain having completed six circumnavigations of the globe. He took to the sea at the age of eighteen and from twenty two has worked on some of the world’s most prestigious yachts, including Boadicea, Maupiti and White Rabbit. He has been Captain of Senses for seven years and his objective is to run a well-managed superyacht with the best trained, safest crew and operations within the industry, without compromising the luxurious pleasures the yacht has been designed for. |

NAME : Andy “Ginger” Butterworth Andy has been with Senses for four years. He started his marine career at sixteen with an engineering cadetship in the Merchant Navy. After completion of his cadetship an opportunity arose onboard a private yacht in Fort Lauderdale and he soon decided that his career path lay in private yachting. On joining Senses he completed his first round the world cruise. |

NAME : Stephen Hunter Stephen joined the New Zealand Navy at seventeen and served on several naval ships. After seven years in the Navy he joined Senses as Second Engineer. |

NAME : Mark Inglis Growing up next to a beach in New Zealand Mark has always been involved with the sea and watersports. After five years study in Exercise Science and post graduate work in Exercise Physiology and Biometrics he was enticed into the yachting industry – short term! Seven years and many miles later he is now a committed member of the Superyacht fraternity and has completed one circumnavigation with Senses. |

NAME : Trent Jones Trent is a keen water sports enthusiast and is a teacher of competitive water skiing, wakeboarding and scuba diving. After studying marine biology at university he joined a live-aboard dive charter boat in the South Pacific and the Caribbean before making the move to superyachts, on which he now has five years experience. |

NAME : Umit Kirli Umit started in the superyacht industry in 1996 and has worked on several types of yachts ranging from a 20m dive support vessel to explorer class yachts. He has been on Senses for seven years and has completed two circumnavigations. |

NAME : Darren Kennedy Darren’s love of the sea began at the tender age of five when his parents took him on a three year cruise on the family yacht which ended up in New Zealand after cruising the Caribbean. He has international experience in small sailboats and is also keen on surfing and kite surfing (his favourite watersport) and hopes to pass on is experience to others. |

NAME : Matthew Coleman Mathew started his career in superyachts at nineteen. Before joining Senses he worked on similar boats for two years. He loves everything to do with the sea including diving, fishing, sailing and all forms of watersports and hopes to pass on his passion to others. |

NAME : Lance Allan Walker Lance studied professional cookery at Waikato Polytechnic for two years. Since then he has cooked many cuisines for thousands of people in restaurants, hotels, lodges, ski resorts, mobile catering trucks, mansions, villas and superyachts all over the world. |

NAME : Meilan Kaiser Meilan spent her childhood years sailing on a catamaran around Australia, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia. After completing her degree in International Management, Marketing and Accounting she discovered the yachting industry. Over the last seven years she has travelled on yachts in the Mediterranean, USA, Bahamas, Caribbean, Central America, Pacific and South East Asia. |

NAME : Kirsten Mortensen Kirsten spent thirteen years in the travel industry working for Air New Zealand and Air Canada amongst others. To fulfil her desire to see even more of the world she joined Senses over three years ago and now has one circumnavigation under her belt. |

NAME : Fang Wang Fang, who has been aboard Senses for over two years, was born almost as far from the seas as it is possible to be – Mongolia! After working as a secretary, teacher and translator, her first sight of the sea was when she joined the superyacht Ambrosia III, and has subsequently cruised the Mediterranean, Maldives and Hong Kong. |

NAME : Emily Barton At the age of five Emily moved aboard her family motor yacht, cruising the south coast of England, during which time they hosted corporate events for various companies. After ten years at military boarding school, where she discovered a love for sports and the great outdoors, she joined the superyacht industry in 2007. |
